Crypto investigator ZachXBT has stirred the memecoin community after revealing the assets of Murad, a micro-cap memecoin promoter with over 200,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter).
The prominent sleuth disclosed information regarding 11 wallets he believes are associated with Murad Mahmudov, highlighting that they together hold approximately $24 million in memecoins.
He asserted that this wallet disclosure would enable the community to “keep track of [Murad’s] future actions” and added that Murad is making “very bold predictions about micro-cap memecoins to countless followers while manipulating the supply.”
“People deserve to be better informed about the cryptocurrencies they purchase,” he remarked.
Murad, who previously managed an unsuccessful Bitcoin fund named Adaptive Capital, is currently in the spotlight within the memecoin community after giving a talk at TOKEN2049 about a ‘memecoin supercycle.’
ZachXBT’s revelation faced substantial criticism from various memecoin figures and incited a discourse regarding memecoin promotion. Several users on X accused him of ‘doxxing’ Murad, while others claimed that the wallet exposure placed Murad “in considerable danger.”
Nevertheless, numerous crypto advocates have pointed out that the fundamental nature of blockchain technology makes this information inherently public. Many users on X also observed that Murad has previously disclosed his purchases online.

Last weekend, ZachXBT also irritated memecoin enthusiasts after he engaged in a debate with renowned crypto influencer Ansem regarding his promotion of memecoins. During the exchange, Ansem questioned, “Why is discussing lowcaps perceived as grifting?”
In reply, ZachXBT remarked that Ansem frequently promotes various memecoins to his 600,000 followers. He further added, “I do not pump and dump scores of low cap coins to my 600K followers; I actually assist people in the space by addressing hacks, getting perpetrators apprehended, and recovering assets from victims.”
Indeed, following today’s Murad disclosure, Ansem shared “Team Murad,” to which ZachXBT responded with “Team Grifter.”
