Shiba Inu has announced its newest hyper-casual game, Shiboshi Rush, which is now available for Android users. The game, characterized as an action-filled adventure, was revealed today by Shiba Inu’s marketing lead Lucie (@LucieSHIB) via X. Lucie stated, “Prepare for Shiboshi Rush, the thrilling new game from Shiba Inu Games! In this action-packed adventure, players will battle the Shadowcat army with their Shiboshi troops.”
Shiba Inu Launches Its Latest Game
Shiboshi Rush is crafted as a hyper-casual action game where players are challenged to build an army of Shiboshis to repel the invading “Shadowcat forces.” Players need to strategically position their units and make use of multiplier gates to strengthen and enlarge their army. The primary objective is to overpower the enemy and obliterate their castles, adding a layer of strategic depth to the game’s rapid-fire action.
“Position your forces strategically and leverage the multiplier gates to enhance your army. The aim is to outnumber the enemy and demolish their castles. Are you prepared to lead your Shiboshi army to triumph? Dive into the battle now!” Lucie shared via X.
At present, Shiboshi Rush is available in its initial version 0.1.0 on the Android Google Play Store, where it is still classified as being in the testing phase. This version requires Android 7.0 or above and is categorized as a free action game. The game was uploaded by developer Satara Sujal and last updated on September 30, 2024. According to Lucie, the release for Apple devices is expected to come “soon.”
This launch follows closely behind Agent Shiboshi, another Shiba Inu game that was released at the end of August for both Android and Apple devices. These launches are part of Shiba Inu’s strategic entry into the gaming world, particularly focusing on the hyper-casual gaming market, recognized for its easy-to-learn yet challenging gameplay.
Lucie elaborated on this strategic approach in prior communications, stating, “The focus on hyper-casual games highlights Shiba Inu’s dedication to inclusivity. These games are designed to be simple and enjoyable for players of all skill levels, making them accessible to a broad audience.”
Shib Games, the gaming arm of Shiba Inu, initially released both titles on major platforms like the App Store and Google Play Store. This strategy “ensures a wide reach and a seamless gaming experience prior to integrating blockchain features,” Lucie noted, adding that “the priority is on providing a polished experience and collecting player feedback to enhance future blockchain integrations.”
The Shiba Inu marketing lead has also hinted at upcoming developments, indicating that both Agent Shiboshi and likely Shiboshi Rush are set to launch on Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s layer-2 blockchain. “Agent Shiboshi is part of the Shib ecosystem and will eventually be available on Shibarium. The game will first launch on Web2 platforms, with a Web3 version in development.”
As of the latest update, SHIB is trading at $0.00001838.
