Mocaverse and Square Enix Join Forces for Web3 Onboarding Boost

Mocaverse, the leading consumer network supported by Animoca Brands, has revealed a strategic alliance with Square Enix’s SYMBIOGENESIS to ease the transition of users from Web2 to Web3, as per Animoca Brands.

SYMBIOGENESIS: A New Chapter in NFT Collectibles

SYMBIOGENESIS, a groundbreaking NFT collectible art initiative by Square Enix, marks a major advancement in digital entertainment. Renowned for iconic games like Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy, Square Enix’s SYMBIOGENESIS features 10,000 NFTs that meld collectible art with browser-based content. The project’s second chapter debuted in June 2024, enriching its universe and enhancing user engagement.

Utilizing Mocaverse’s Framework

Mocaverse provides an interoperable infrastructure layer that includes Account, Identity, Reputation, and PointFi systems. This partnership will empower SYMBIOGENESIS players to take advantage of Mocaverse’s on-chain digital identity, Moca ID, and its Realm Points mechanism, allowing for seamless access to Web3 experiences. Mocaverse’s network boasts over 540 portfolio companies, amplifying the impact and reach of SYMBIOGENESIS.

Streamlining Web3 Onboarding

The collaboration is designed to simplify the onboarding process for an audience curious about cryptocurrency. Users will be able to access Web3 applications using familiar Web2 social logins, bypassing the intricacies of seed phrases, transaction signing, or gas fees. This initiative aims to draw in a wider range of participants to the Web3 ecosystem.
