The former President visited PubKey, a Bitcoin-themed bar situated in the vibrant Greenwich Village of New York City, to indulge in some cheeseburgers in celebration of National Cheeseburger Day, greeted by a crowd of Bitcoin fans eager to meet him.
“I think it’s a fantastic venue,” Trump remarked to Bitcoin Magazine about PubKey, encouraging the Bitcoin community to head to the polls this coming November.
“Make sure to get out and vote, because if you cast your vote, we cannot lose. We want to rally everyone who shares your views — and there are many — [to participate],” he emphasized.
“They’ve been treating you poorly at the SEC, and we’re determined to treat you justly,” he added.
On the payment process, Trump expressed that it was straightforward and that the transaction was completed “quickly and beautifully.”
One of the most historic transactions in #bitcoin history was just made.

Following the transaction, Trump, accompanied by Thomas Pacchia, one of the bar’s owners, took the time to greet everyone present.
“This was one of the most significant Bitcoin transactions ever,” noted Pacchia.
“President Trump visited PubKey to engage with the Bitcoin community — to show his support for the Bitcoin movement,” he continued.
“We are incredibly thrilled that he was here.”
