The largest martial arts organization in the world will utilize Sui’s technology for its products and the highly anticipated mobile game ONE Fight Arena, developed in collaboration with Animoca Brands

Sui, an innovative Layer 1 blockchain, has announced its new role as the official blockchain partner of ONE Championship (“ONE”), the foremost martial arts organization worldwide. ONE showcases a diverse range of martial arts, featuring top athletes from over 80 countries competing in MMA, Muay Thai, kickboxing, submission grappling, and other disciplines. This partnership was revealed during a panel at Sui’s Builder House in Singapore, coinciding with Token2049, the leading crypto event globally.

As part of this collaboration, Sui will be incorporated into several ONE products, including ONE Fight Arena, the organization’s eagerly awaited official Web3-enabled free-to-play mobile game, developed with Animoca Brands and its subsidiary Notre Game. ONE Fight Arena will showcase ONE’s impressive lineup of world champion martial artists and extensive intellectual property library.

This mobile game will utilize Sui’s state-of-the-art technology to deliver a unique gaming experience focused on true digital ownership, fostering a deeper connection between ONE and its global fanbase.

Sui’s features will encompass a comic/manga series about ONE athletes accessible via zkLogin and supported by the Walrus protocol on Sui, as well as a free-to-play pick’em game where fans can earn various rewards and phygital collectibles that merge physical and digital elements.

“ONE Championship is the fastest-expanding major global sports property, known for its forward-thinking and technological innovation,” stated Jameel Khalfan, Head of Ecosystem Development at Sui Foundation. “Being selected as their official blockchain partner and integrated into their technology stack underscores Sui’s growth and adoption trajectory, presenting another opportunity to support the sports community with Sui’s technology.”

As ONE’s official blockchain partner, Sui is anticipated to enjoy substantial visibility and brand recognition during prominent events, which will be attended by thousands in-person and broadcasted to millions worldwide across over 190 countries through a network of partners, including Prime Video, Sky Sports, Globo, Channel 7 HD, U-Next, Seven Network, and Disney+ Hotstar.

“In a competitive market, capturing interest requires high-quality, interconnected, and engaging experiences. By delivering world-class events, innovative gaming, second-screen functionalities, and harnessing Web3 technology, we strive to engage with fans on a meaningful level,” said Hua Fung Teh, Co-Founder and Group President of ONE Championship. “Sui aligns perfectly with these goals, and we are excited to partner with them as our official blockchain partner to realize this vision.”
