Introducing a special initiative: Quadratic funding for SEA communities 👏
In collaboration with clr.fund, Southeast Asian Ethereum communities are launching a quadratic funding round dedicated to the region! The Devcon team proudly supports this initiative by contributing $30,000 to the matching pool. This funding approach prioritizes community preferences, allowing members’ choices to guide how funds are distributed.

The Journey to Devcon in Southeast Asia 🌏
In April, we engaged with communities in Hanoi 🇻🇳, Bangkok 🇹🇭, Chiang Mai 🇹🇭, Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾, Phnom Penh 🇰🇭, Jakarta 🇮🇩, Manila 🇵🇭, and Singapore 🇸🇬. Each city hosted meetups to unite Ethereum enthusiasts in their unique styles.
We encountered curious students eager to learn about open-source technologies, community leaders collaborating to advance Ethereum development, and lively meetups (even amidst national holidays!) during Songkran. The energy and enthusiasm celebrating community achievements were truly infectious.
