  • Prove AI AG, previously identified as Casper Labs, has made a “strategic decision” to transition
  • This marks yet another chapter in the continuing trend of industry-wide migrations

Prove AI AG, a company focused on AI governance, is preparing to shift its flagship governance solution from the Casper network to the Hedera Network. This transition highlights the growing trend of blockchain initiatives moving to networks that provide superior technological features. With its advanced blockchain infrastructure, noted for high throughput, low latency, and strong security, Hedera has become a preferred option for projects seeking a more dependable and transparent ecosystem.

For Prove AI AG, the migration is especially strategic as it intends to bolster the security of its AI training data and promote more transparent governance practices.

A comprehensive strategy

This transition to Hedera is a key part of Prove AI’s extensive strategy to partner with blockchain networks capable of meeting the increasing demands of AI governance. The design of Hedera—featuring the hashgraph consensus mechanism—allows for efficient handling of large data sets, a critical factor for AI training scenarios where precision and auditability are essential.

As Charles Adkins, President at Hedera, stated,

“Prove AI, functioning as an immutable, tamper-proof database, introduces a level of trust in risk management for AI systems, aligning seamlessly with our mission to create a secure, scalable foundation for builders and enterprises alike.”

A collective movement

This migration is not an isolated incident. In recent times, Hedera has experienced increased interest from various projects in search of an efficient and secure blockchain ecosystem. For example, the well-known NFT project Mynt has also made a similar move to Hedera, leveraging its high throughput and energy efficiency.

Initiatives like Mynt have showcased Hedera’s appropriateness not only for AI governance but also for a wide range of applications including tokenization, digital assets, and decentralized finance (DeFi).

The recent introduction of a toolkit for on-chain tokenization has further solidified Hedera’s standing as a versatile blockchain network. This toolkit enables the smooth integration of real-world assets into the blockchain, fostering increased transparency, accessibility, and liquidity.

The trend of switching between blockchains is becoming increasingly prevalent, spurred by evolving requirements surrounding scalability, security, and cost-efficiency. For instance, initiatives that initially launched on Ethereum have transitioned to networks like Polygon or Solana to take advantage of reduced transaction costs and quicker processing times.

Thus, Prove AI AG’s choice to migrate to Hedera is part of a wider trend of tactical adjustments within the blockchain industry.
