Pilot Program for Sports Clubs: Introducing the “Sports Metaverse”

Sports play a significant role in life, filled with emotions and long-lasting connections. Zetly utilizes cutting-edge technological advancements to capture these sports emotions and enhance fan engagement, bridging the gap between the sports industry and the digital realm. Through blockchain technology, Zetly creates an all-inclusive platform that introduces clubs and their supporters to the emerging digital economy.

Currently, Zetly, in collaboration with technological partners, Transmira, Haste Arcade, and PowChess, announces the exclusive pilot initiative “Sport Metaverse”. Leveraging WEB3 ecosystem solutions, blockchain networks, and digital technologies, Zetly aims to provide a select group of sports clubs with groundbreaking technological innovations, transitioning them into the Metaverse sports universe. Zetly will assist them in establishing a virtual NFT Fan Digital Store and Play2Earn games.

The technology involved will integrate the club’s 3D and NFT assets with real-world products, enabling creators and brands to monetize within this new economy. Sport Metaverse focuses on enhancing user experience, functionality, and value generation through sophisticated technology applicable across various markets and sectors. Additionally, selected clubs will benefit from the solutions provided by the All-in-One Zetly platform, allowing them to issue their own tokens, create unique NFTs, initiate crowdfunding drives, and offer distinct digital collections.

PROGRAM DETAILS

The program will feature a 3D digital replica of the football stadium and its environment, creating a virtual twin stadium in partnership with Transmira. This virtual space will enable fans to gather and support their teams from anywhere in the world.

This innovation will not only elevate fan experiences but will also open new revenue streams for clubs through monetization. Football clubs’ sponsors can showcase their offerings in this virtual environment, while club partners can establish their own virtual storefronts.

“The Sport Metaverse presents a developmental opportunity and a fan engagement tool, serving as a prime investment for those prioritizing close ties with their supporters. We propose a transformative solution for the sports domain. Our approach is grounded in our experiences from 3D scanning buildings in Los Angeles. We believe our Omniscape™ platform is the perfect collaborator for Zetly in this sports initiative,” stated Robert Rice, CEO of Transmira Inc.

Transmira is among the forefront technology firms developing solutions on the BSV blockchain, seamlessly blending AR, VR, and 3D environments with real-world applications.

Play2Earn features will form another integral aspect of the Sport Metaverse initiative. Zetly, alongside the participating clubs, will present gaming experiences that enable fans to earn Instant Leaderboard Payouts™ (ILPs™) alongside tokens and NFTs usable within the games. This collaboration will take place with Haste Arcade.

“Our aim is to equip the clubs in the Zetly pilot initiative and their supporters with a solution that utilizes ILP, providing a virtual scoreboard for instantaneous, real-time micropayments,” announced Joe De Pinto, co-founder of Haste Arcade.

Moreover, P2E features like Away Games will allow fans to broaden their knowledge, both virtually and in person, about the cities their favorite teams visit. Through a blend of AR, VR, and geolocation, fans can earn tokens for their team and NFT rewards by exploring unique landmarks, either virtually or in real life, learning about their club’s history and interesting facts about its journey.

The NFT Digital Fan Store will serve as a virtual hub for club merchandise in NFT form. This solution integrates blockchain as proof of ownership for the digital items available across various Metaverses. This unique combination encompasses three domains: the physical world, with tangible products delivered to consumers, the Metaverse, where digital items are worn by avatars, and augmented reality, where virtual products are displayed. Future platforms like Sport Metaverse, Sandbox, or Decentraland will enable customers to showcase their virtual merchandise during fan gatherings within the Metaverse.

A critical feature of the pilot initiative is the ability to utilize the solutions presented through the All-in-One platform currently being developed by Zetly.

“In addition to solutions from the sports Metaverse, the digital fan shop, or games in a virtual setting, the Zetly Sport Metaverse initiative allows clubs to issue their virtual currency—Club Tokens—facilitated through the All-in-One platform. These tokens will enable payment for both real and virtual products and services offered by the clubs,” stated Michał Glijer, CEO of Zetly.

Each participating club will be provided with a unique educational package, featuring personalized workshops and a compendium of knowledge, specifically a textbook titled “Strategy for the Implementation and Utilization of Utility and NFT Tokens in Marketing for Sports and E-sports Clubs.

THE VIRTUAL FUTURE OF SPORT

The Zetly pilot initiative marks a pivotal moment in the sports landscape. For fans, it unveils endless possibilities for engaging experiences, whether it’s cheering from a virtual stadium, gathering in a virtual pub, or acquiring digital memorabilia, collections, and NFTs that grant access to exclusive content. Conversely, for clubs, it presents a chance to monetize fan involvement and create fresh opportunities for sponsorship, ultimately resulting in new revenue channels.

Undoubtedly, the collaboration between Zetly and its partners on the exclusive Sport Metaverse initiative will be a milestone in sporting history globally.
