The non-fungible token sector has seen a 4.2% decrease in sales volume over the past week.
This decline follows a notable increase of 7.68% as noted in our previous weekly NFT sales report. The most recent figures from Cryptoslam indicate that NFT sales volume for the past week reached $73.75 million.
This drop represents a decline of 4.2% compared to the $109 million in sales recorded the week before.
Despite the NFT sales volume falling to double-digit figures, there has been an impressive 132% increase in NFT buyers. Data from Cryptoslam shows that there were 521,640 NFT buyers compared to 270,413 NFT sellers.
Interestingly, NFT transactions fell by over 26% in the last week, totaling 1,217,967. Let’s take a closer look at the leading blockchains during this timeframe.
Ethereum and Solana lead the charge

According to the data, Ethereum (ETH) retains the top spot with $23.9 million in NFT sales. However, the network experienced a decrease of over 9.6% in sales compared to the previous week. Notably, 12.24% of these sales were attributed to wash trading.
Solana (SOL) claims the second position with $16 million in sales. Following them are Bitcoin (BTC), Polygon (POL), and Binance Coin (BNB), with sales figures of $13 million, $7.5 million, and $3.3 million respectively.
The BNB network recorded the least wash trading, whereas Solana and Bitcoin saw 6.41% and 4.54%, respectively.
Data from Cryptoslam indicates that NFT sales volume surged on the Solana network by 17.89%, as well as on Polygon by 51.3%.
Guild of Guardians Heroes tops the collection
Guild of Guardians on the Immutable-Zk chain has secured the top rank for the highest sales volume, achieving $2.86 million across 5786 transactions.
Just behind, the DogeZuki Collection on Solana secured second place with $2.4 million in sales and 61,447 transactions, maintaining its strong position from the previous week.

Ranking third is Sorare on the Ethereum blockchain, with $2.368 million in sales and a total of 108,690 transactions.
CryptoPunks follows in fourth place, recording 25 transactions for a sales volume of $2.2 million, while DMarket on the Mythos blockchain rounds out the top five with $2.1 million in sales and 80,713 transactions.
