The non-fungible token sector has seen a 4.2% decrease in sales volume over the past week.

This decline follows a notable increase of 7.68% as noted in our previous weekly NFT sales report. The most recent figures from Cryptoslam indicate that NFT sales volume for the past week reached $73.75 million.

This drop represents a decline of 4.2% compared to the $109 million in sales recorded the week before.

Despite the NFT sales volume falling to double-digit figures, there has been an impressive 132% increase in NFT buyers. Data from Cryptoslam shows that there were 521,640 NFT buyers compared to 270,413 NFT sellers.

Interestingly, NFT transactions fell by over 26% in the last week, totaling 1,217,967. Let’s take a closer look at the leading blockchains during this timeframe.

Solana (SOL) claims the second position with $16 million in sales. Following them are Bitcoin (BTC), Polygon (POL), and Binance Coin (BNB), with sales figures of $13 million, $7.5 million, and $3.3 million respectively.

The BNB network recorded the least wash trading, whereas Solana and Bitcoin saw 6.41% and 4.54%, respectively.

Data from Cryptoslam indicates that NFT sales volume surged on the Solana network by 17.89%, as well as on Polygon by 51.3%.
