Huddle01 Launches Node Sale to Expand Video Network Services

On November 6, 2024, Huddle01, a pioneering decentralized real-time communications layer, will initiate its media node sale. This initiative aims to redefine standards in decentralized communication by presenting a reliable and efficient alternative to the challenges faced by traditional real-time communication (RTC) service providers. Since its inception in 2023, Huddle01 has successfully hosted over 6 million minutes across more than 100,000 events.

The inaugural dRTC Network

Huddle01 marks the first Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) dedicated to RTC or audio/video conferencing. It strategically coordinates unused internet bandwidth through node operators, enabling flawless audio and video communication via its pioneering decentralized network.

Huddle01’s application layer, Huddle01 Meet, integrates Web3-native functionalities, enabling users to connect wallets, utilize NFT profile pictures as avatars, and manage token-gated meetings. Video recordings can be securely stored on the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS), underscoring the platform’s dedication to decentralization and security.

The Node Sales will occur in two phases
Phase 1 includes 20,000 nodes, available for sale from the Whitelist on November 6, followed by a Public Sale on November 8
Participants in Phase 1 will receive 2x rewards compared to those in Phase 2
A minimum internet connection of approximately 250 Mbps is required to operate a node; however, buyers can delegate to lower operational costs
The testnet will be initiated two weeks post-sale, during which node operators can earn up to 5 $HUDL daily
21% of the total Token Generation Event (TGE) supply (200M $HUDL) will be allocated as incentives for active nodes during the testnet phase, with immediate vesting and 5% unlocked at TGE
