EasyA, the premier blockchain education platform globally, is excited to announce the unveiling of the EasyA x Polkadot University. This will be the first-ever institution dedicated to training the upcoming generation of blockchain developers. EasyA graduates have already launched companies worth more than $2.5 billion. The EasyA x Polkadot University aims to integrate this new wave of innovators into the Polkadot ecosystem and assist them in starting their projects on Polkadot.
With 1 million users already engaged in blockchain education through the EasyA app and thousands of developers participating in EasyA hackathons across the globe, EasyA is poised to elevate its educational efforts. The EasyA x Polkadot University will harness the vast talent within universities and direct it toward the Polkadot ecosystem.
By offering a mix of workshops, hackathons, and demo days, the University will concentrate on teaching students about Polkadot while supporting them in launching innovative projects within the ecosystem.
“EasyA has demonstrated an exceptional ability to cultivate founders who go on to create industry-leading projects, supported by top-tier VCs like a16z, YC, and Founders Fund. The EasyA x Polkadot University is designed to motivate the next generation of these founders to develop their projects within the Polkadot framework,” stated Phil Kwok, CEO and Co-Founder of EasyA.
EasyA hosts 1-2 in-person hackathons each month in major cities worldwide, from San Francisco to London to Singapore and beyond, drawing top talent aspiring to develop high-impact startups. These hackathons will become a fundamental component of the University.
Many of the most significant advancements in blockchain have emerged from students, such as Vitalik Buterin, who left school to create Ethereum, and Robert Habermeier of Polkadot, who left his studies to pursue the development of Polkadot. Through its University, EasyA will concentrate on discovering the world’s most gifted founders and guiding them toward success.
The founders of EasyA, Phil and Dom Kwok, possess extensive knowledge in both blockchain and business. Having embarked on their blockchain journey in 2013, they have gained deep insights into what succeeds and what fails over the last decade. Phil studied at Cambridge University and was among the youngest to pass the New York bar exam. Dom graduated from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he also earned accolades before working at Goldman Sachs and then at the investment behemoth Blackstone.
The EasyA x Polkadot University marks a transformative chapter for blockchain education: a venue where the world’s finest builders will craft the next phase of the internet.
