🎤 Programming Timeline & Tracks
Speaker applications will be open starting July 9. You can explore the various programming tracks now.
Devcon will address key topics and themes vital to the Ethereum ecosystem today, tackling challenges, ongoing innovations, and fundamental Ethereum principles. The tracks will include talks, workshops, panels, and more, catering to all skill levels.
- Core protocol: For over a decade, researchers and developers have dedicated themselves to enhancing Ethereum’s decentralization, resilience, and security. What are the latest research insights, EIPs in the pipeline, and proposals for the future?
- Layer 2: Ethereum is evolving into a rapidly scaling rollup-centric ecosystem poised to onboard billions. Following the introduction of blobs earlier this year, what remains to be done to scale Ethereum for mass adoption?
- Developer Experience: What tools and best practices are making Ethereum development easier, and how can we continue to enhance this experience?
- Coordination: How can we leverage Ethereum to improve coordination across the Internet?
- Cypherpunk & Privacy: What principles make Ethereum unique, why are they crucial for society, and how can we restore its Cypherpunk roots?
- Applied Cryptography: Cryptography underpins the crypto world; with advancements in ZKP, MPC, FHE, etc., how can we apply these techniques to achieve previously unattainable real-world applications?
- Security: While the ecosystem has improved in thwarting attacks, there’s still potential for enhancement. What are the leading security practices, recommendations, and tools designed to bolster the security of Ethereum applications?
- Real World Ethereum: With Ethereum achieving maturity, we can create tangible applications that drive long-term positive change—what can we build, and what are best practices for development?
- Usability: Good UX is essential for mass adoption. What progress are we making in enhancing the UX of Ethereum, Layer 2 solutions, and applications?
- Cryptoeconomics: This emerging field enables us to establish robust decentralized networks with strong incentives for participants within complex environments. What are the latest breakthroughs and recommendations in this area?

For further details on each option, read on.
Raffle-Auction Ticket Wave
In a similar vein to Devcon VI, we are featuring an on-chain Raffle-Auction as our initial wave of ticket sales. We’re committed to showcasing Ethereum’s capability to facilitate fair and verifiable Raffles & Auctions while expanding the methods we utilize for distributing tickets to the many thousands eager to attend.
204 tickets will be made available through this Raffle-Auction. The top 20 bids will win in the Auction. Those who enter with the Minimum Bid or do not win in the auction will be entered into the raffle for a chance to secure one of 184 Devcon tickets available. Our goal is to achieve a distribution that is roughly 10% efficient and 90% fair.
We extend our gratitude to the Fairy & Archblock teams for their invaluable contributions to the success of this year’s event.
Participation Rules
Network — Arbitrum
Minimum Bid — 0.08 ETH (equivalent to the $299 price of a discounted Builder Ticket at the time of publication).
All proceeds from the Auction above the minimum bid will contribute to assisting individuals in attending Devcon through funding programs such as the EF Next Billion Scholars program and other Devcon initiatives. Bidders above the minimum who do not win will automatically be entered into the Raffle for a chance to win a ticket. If you win the Raffle, you can withdraw all funds exceeding the Minimum Bid. If you don’t win either the Raffle or Auction, you can withdraw your total funds. Similar to previous events, one fortunate winner will receive a complimentary Golden Ticket to Devcon & will have the ability to withdraw all their funds.
Sybil-Resistance
This year, we are utilizing Gitcoin Passport to implement a secure sybil-resistance strategy for the Raffle-Auction. Participants will need to log into their Passport OR create a new one & confirm their stamps to join in this year’s Raffle-Auction ticket wave.
