Crypto.com has launched the Crypto.com AI Agent SDK, a software development kit powered by artificial intelligence aimed at making interactions with blockchain functionalities easier, even via voice commands.
This tool — currently in beta — is designed for Web3 and AI developers who want to incorporate natural language commands into their blockchain projects, as stated in a Crypto.com announcement.
The AI Agent SDK allows users to execute blockchain operations using regular language. For instance, instead of navigating complicated coding, users can simply say, “Create a new wallet address for me” or “Transfer 100 PayPal USD to Alice’s address.”
The AI interprets these requests and carries them out directly on blockchain networks such as Cronos (CRO), Crypto.com’s proprietary blockchain.
This SDK is adaptable and can function on various platforms like Telegram, Discord, or any custom user interface, making it suitable for multiple applications, according to Crypto.com.
Enhancing accessibility to blockchain technology
Eric Anziani, President and COO of Crypto.com, highlighted the promise of merging AI with blockchain, characterizing the AI Agent SDK as a significant move toward making Web3 more accessible.
“We are harnessing that potential and enabling users to explore and engage with it – a truly collaborative and decentralized journey towards unlocking the integrated power of Web3 and AI.”
Eric Anziani
The aim is to assist both developers and non-technical users in engaging with blockchain technology more effortlessly, minimizing the steep learning curve that often discourages newcomers.
The AI Agent SDK utilizes AI models embedded within the software to understand and execute user commands, acting as a connector between traditional users and blockchain protocols. As this SDK develops, Crypto.com intends to broaden its features to accommodate more use cases across various blockchain environments, according to their announcement.
This initiative from Crypto.com illustrates the increasing trend of merging AI with blockchain to simplify and widen access, with an objective to make decentralized technology more approachable for all.
