It’s still uncommon to hear about cryptocurrency on the radio, but this morning while listening to Radio Nova, I came across an advertisement from the well-established gold traders, Core Bullion Traders.
Located on Frances Street in Dublin 8, they have been in business for quite a while. However, what piqued my interest was their recent venture into the cryptocurrency market. They provide a diverse selection of physical gold, which ranges from 1 gram pieces to kilogram bars, all of which can be collected once payment is completed.
They have teamed up with a payment gateway that enables payments using Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Bitcoin SV (BSV), Stellar Lumens (XLM), Nano (NANO), Quantum (QTUM), Tether (USDT20), and USD Coin (USDC). The checkout process appears to be simple: select the items you wish to purchase, proceed through checkout, and choose to pay with cryptocurrency. After you complete your payment and it gets confirmed, they will contact you via phone or email to finalize the arrangements, and in a few days, you can collect your gold.
While they aren’t the inaugural company to introduce this service, they stand out as the first Irish business to do so. Considering that shipping fees can significantly increase costs for smaller transactions from international dealers, this could be an excellent choice for those looking to exchange some of their cryptocurrency for gold.
