On September 30, spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded their eighth consecutive day of inflows, while spot Ether ETFs faced outflows after a previous day of positive performance.
As per data from SoSoValue, the 12 spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a net injection of $61.3 million, sustaining their inflow streak for eight days and accumulating approximately $1.42 billion into the funds.
Leading the inflows was BlackRock’s IBIT, which attracted $72.15 million, marking its sixth consecutive day of positive inflows. Since its inception, the ETF has amassed over $24.14 billion in total net inflows, while Fidelity’s FBTC secured $8.32 million.
Conversely, ARK and 21Shares’ ARKB experienced outflows of $9.5 million on Monday, following a successful trading day that brought in $203.07 million to its fund. Additionally, Bitwise’s BITB saw $9.67 million exit its fund.
Grayscale’s GBTC reported no inflows on Monday after the previous trading day’s $26.15 million influx. Similarly, the other seven spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded zero flows.
Total trading volume across the 12 BTC ETFs significantly declined on September 30, dropping to $1.37 billion compared to the previous day. Since their launch, these funds have achieved a cumulative total net inflow of $18.86 billion. Bitcoin (BTC) has decreased by 1.1% over the past day, currently trading at $63,899.
Ether ETFs see slight outflows
In contrast, the seven spot Ethereum ETFs in the U.S. reported $822,290 in net outflows on September 30, following inflows of $58.65 million the day before.
Grayscale’s ETHE continued to see outflows, losing $11.81 million. However, BlackRock’s ETHA mitigated a significant portion of these losses by garnering $10.99 million in net inflows, marking its fifth straight day of positive performance.
The remaining seven spot ETH ETFs remained unchanged on the day.
Trade volume for these investment vehicles also declined, falling to $149.14 million on September 30 from $249 million the previous day. Since launching, the spot Ether ETFs have seen total net outflows of $523.79 million. At the time of publication, Ethereum (ETH) was priced at $2,644.
