As noted recently by Reuters, it appears that Ireland is included in Binance’s plans for expansion. Being one of the largest crypto exchanges globally by trading volume, their proposed entry is a significant advantage for the local crypto ecosystem. In addition to various smaller crypto and blockchain ventures, there has been a consistent growth of blockchain companies establishing themselves in the country.
Among these are Ethereum developer Consensys, a group collaborating in Facebook’s offices on their forthcoming cryptocurrency, as well as several prominent cryptocurrency exchanges like Coinbase, Crypto.com, and Kraken.
As they begin to set up operations, numerous job listings are expected to appear on LinkedIn jobs, where currently there are over 60 job openings across various roles at established crypto exchanges.
