- The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance has put forth a merger proposal with CUDOS.
- Should the proposal be approved by community voting, CUDOS’s native token will transition to FET.
The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance recently unveiled a proposal aimed at merging with the decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) known as CUDOS.
After the merger of SingularityNET, Fetch.ai, and Ocean Protocol into a single entity under the ASI alliance, this latest development indicates that CUDOS will become a non-founding member.
ASI proposes merger with CUDOS
On September 11, ASI disclosed the merger proposal, which was also shared by the CUDOS team on their X account.

The proposal highlights the belief that adding the distributed AI computing provider will greatly enhance the ASI Alliance. Specifically, it states that CUDOS, which utilizes blockchain to deliver scalable, cost-effective, and adaptable cloud AI services, will play a vital role in ASI’s mission to lead in artificial general intelligence (AGI).
“This collaboration transcends mere resource aggregation; it aims to forge a seamless ecosystem where AI and blockchain technologies can thrive together, expanding the frontiers of decentralized AI capabilities. By integrating CUDOS’ robust computing network within the ASI framework, we’re primed for revolutionary advancements in AI that will transform the tech landscape and set the stage for decentralized AGI and ASI,” stated Matt Hawkins, founder of CUDOS.
CUDOS token migration
If both CUDOS and ASI communities ratify the proposal during the voting period from September 19 to September 24, 2024, the CUDOS token will convert to the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance’s token (FET).
Per the announcement’s details, the CUDOS to FET exchange rate will be 112.427:1, with a 5% merge fee bringing it to approximately 118.344:1.
The CUDOS token value surged after the announcement, peaking at $0.01 before some profit-taking occurred. At the time of writing, CUDOS’ daily trading volume had increased by 113%, exceeding $1.2 million.
