Synesis One (SNS), Near Protocol (NEAR) and Internet Computer (ICP) were at the forefront of a 10% increase in AI crypto coins, sparked by optimistic remarks from presidential candidate Kamala Harris and OpenAI founder Sam Altman.
SNS recorded the highest gain over the last 24 hours, surging by 73% to $0.01755 as of 3:34 a.m. EST. NEAR, the largest AI cryptocurrency by market capitalization, experienced a 6% increase in the same timeframe, while ICP rose by 4% to $8.84.
Most Of The Top 10 AI Crypto Coins Increase
Nearly all of the leading 10 AI crypto coins gained in the last 24 hours. Arkham (ARKM) led the surge among the top 10 with a 9% increase, followed by both Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (FET) and Render (RENDER) rising over 1%. AIOZ Network (AIOZ) and The Graph also recorded gains in this 24-hour period.
Akash Network (AKT), SingularityNET (AGIX) and Bittensor (TAO) diverged from the growth trend of the other top 10 AI coins, posting declines instead.
Kamala Harris Pledges To Invest In AI And Digital Assets If Elected
The price jump followed comments from Vice President and Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, who stated she will be a technology-forward president and will “support innovative technologies such as AI and digital assets.”
A blog entry on September 23 by OpenAI founder Sam Altman also helped elevate sentiment within the AI sector. In the blog, he emphasized the transformative potential of the technology and asserted that AI will evolve into something beyond a mere alternative to Google search.
