Mi Primer Bitcoin, or My First Bitcoin, has officially announced the upcoming fourth Bitcoin Educators Unconference. The organization disclosed the scheduled date and location for this next event, which is moving from Nashville back to its original home.
Bitcoin Educators Returns to Its Roots
Mi Primer Bitcoin (MPB) is a non-profit organization based in El Salvador that aims to promote BTC education globally. The organization is particularly recognized for its Bitcoin Educators Unconference, which attracts prominent industry leaders and Bitcoin enthusiasts from across the globe.
MPB announced that the fourth edition of their Unconference will take place in just two months. This time, the event will return to San Salvador, the capital of El Salvador, where the inaugural edition was held a year ago.

Following events in Madeira and Nashville, the next Unconference will take place at the Cadejo Brewing Company. Scheduled for November 14 at 10:00 AM (GMT-6), this edition will occur one day prior to the Adopting Bitcoin conference in San Salvador.
During the Unconference, the 150 registered attendees will have the opportunity to present as speakers at this Bitcoin-centric event. Participants can pitch their ideas at the start of the day, as sessions and activities are “structured to embody the Bitcoin ethos.”
Emphasizing its “collaborative and decentralized” spirit, enthusiasts will be able to network with industry leaders, engage in profound discussions, and exchange insights with each other.
Notable figures from the industry, including Jeff Booth, Preston Pysh, Ben Perrin, and Natalie Brunell, have participated in earlier Unconference editions alongside educators and supporters from all around the world.
BTC Diploma Program Continues Its Growth
Founded in early 2022, the MPB organization launched its Bitcoin Diploma program to enhance BTC education across various topics, such as fiat currency, Bitcoin’s history, and the challenges faced by the flagship cryptocurrency.
Since its inception, the program has flourished, reaching over 30,000 students in El Salvador in the past three years. Additionally, the 2023 textbook has been translated into 23 languages and is being taught independently from South America to Asia.
On September 18, MPB shared that the BTC diploma textbook will expand further into Zambia, with another organization announcing translations into the Nyanja, Bemba, Tonga, and Lozi languages.
The non-profit has also partnered with El Salvador’s Ministry of Education to foster adoption and financial empowerment within the country. This collaboration aims to introduce the BTC diploma curriculum to the public education system this year.
The initiative is expected to train 700 public teachers to implement the BTC diploma curriculum within their local schools. By April, nearly 100 educators had completed the program, and in September, the non-profit revealed that another 100 teachers commenced the 10-week course this month.
